Academic Performance

We admitted students 200 in 2009-10 for B.Ed course and our college has secured 93% pass (theory) and 100% (practical) in the university examination held in June 2010. 137 students secured FIRST CLASS and 41 students secured Distinction.

Formation

To make our students imbibe the universal values of responsibility and dedication we implant in them the need to grow morally strong through daily prayer. Assembly activities include prayer song, oath, news-reading, speech and national anthem. Every year we invite spiritual gurus to enlighten our teacher trainees on one such occasion on October 26,2010 swami Vipurthanandha Maharaj, Editor , RamaKrishna Vijayam delivered on inspiring message on "Five Fold Faith Of Teachers" which proved to be more beneficial.

Curricular Activities

The academic year commenced on   for B.Ed students. We admitted 200 students teachers for the B.Ed course. All the different associations of our college met to discuss the plan of action for the forth coming year. Micro teaching was practiced by our students and model demonstration were done by the expert teachers for one week.

Intensive Teaching Practice

We have an exclusive teaching programme for 40 days, in the course of which student teachers acquire unique teaching practice in class room environments.

Seminars

A seminar on aids awareness was conducted on 15th September 201o by Dr. Murugesan Durai Singam, Medical Officer, Family Planning Of Association.

Union Inauguration

Students selected their leader on September 3 2010.
Mrs. T. MANIMEGALA was selected the college union leader and
Miss G. Rajakarthika  as assistant leader. One leader for various subject association was also selected.
