Infrastructure
Our college is located at Paravai Madurai north taluk, 8 km away from Madurai city proper. The campus is bestowed with a pastoral atmosphere of classic beauty of nature, spreading over vast area of 75 acres providing a pleasant and calm environment.
The B.Ed campus comprises aesthetically architectured permanent structures of 3 floors. The first and second floors were constructed on first September 2006 at an expense of Rs.1 crore for the improvement of the college as well as for the student’s facilities. The ground floor consists of Principal’s Room, Office room, Staff Room, 2 Class rooms and Library which consists a volumes of Text Books, Reference Books, Journals and Magazines with a calm well furnished reading Room. The First floor has a spacious four laboratories such as language lab, Educational Technology Lab, Psychology Lab and Computer Lab. It also consists of a Seminar Hall and class rooms. Second floor consists of six class rooms and seminar hall.

Location
The campus is about 8 km away from Madurai a busy, peaceful and sleepless town in the heart of Tamil Nadu.It is situated along the Madurai-Dindugal National highway. It is on absolutely self contained campus comprising of everything the student community would require.

Library

The Library of Mangayarkarasi B.Ed College provides resource support in all areas of teaching and learning. Total number of books for B.Ed and M.Ed course contains 7061 with the cost of Rs.481465. In order to facilitate the students to be aware of the appropriate openings available to them by way of higher studies and job opportunities, the library has a Special Notice Board where clippings of related information are displayed.
The library also has a wing for reprographic service to have access to Xerox facility to set photo copies of the needed documents. Besides, all books are computerized and having cluster of psychological encyclopedia books.e-resourses to be started very soon.
Laboratories
Educational Technology Laboratory
A modernized educational Laboratory is effectively used with the area of 586.18 sq.ft.The activities carried on by using LCD Projector with LCD screen, OHP projector with screen, Slide projector, Digital camera, Camera, TV in teaching learning process and also this lab is well equipped with caller mike, cardless mike and speakers etc.,
Language Laboratory
A Lingual training classes conduct in the well equipped Language Laboratory with the area of 451.31sq.ft.One hour per week is allotted for demonstration with the use of Phonetics, Dialects CD’s.This lab is very useful to our students for certificate course in spoken English courses conducted by M.K.U
Computer Laboratory
A computer lab with internet facility is used to prepare learning packages to enlighten their computer skill with the area of 565.54sq.ft. Our college staff members used this lab frequently to teach CAI and explained thoroughly the usage of internet and E-Mail ID
Psychology laboratory
The Psychology Laboratory with the area of 581.00sq.ft is equipped with necessary questionnaires and tools. Two hours per week is allotted with in the timetable to carry out Psychological experiments. The students conduct atleast six experiments each and maintain a record and also this lab is well equipped with sufficient electrical and electronic tools for B.Ed., and M.Ed., course experiments.
Science Laboratory
The science laboratory with the area of 712.5 sq.ft is equipped with necessary apparatus and laboratory instructional cards. Two hours per week is allotted with in the time table to carryout science experiments. The students conduct 10 experiments and demonstration in group and maintain a record.
